Dementia Education Seminar

Students will hear from healthcare experts and learn about the challenges of dementia care and the critical role of nurses across the continuum of care. Seminar includes film screening of the Sue’s Story documentary followed by a panel discussion with special guests Dr. Jennifer Cohen and Julie Chu from the Palliative Care team at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center. SJSU Faculty members hosting the seminar include Drs. Nancy Dudley, Daryl Canham and Stefan Frazier.

This online seminar brings together students from several colleges at SJSU to learn about dementia—a global public health crisis—from the perspectives of research, healthcare, and the community. Annual Senior Resource Fair

The City of Morgan Hill is hosting its first-ever Senior Week, October 8-12. On October 12th, the SUE’S STORY documentary will be a featured attraction at the City’s Annual Senior Resource Fair. Screening will be followed by a Q&A with a panel of medical/healthcare experts. Dozens of exhibitors will provide resources for seniors attending the Fair. Admission is free.

SOURCEWISE Advisory Council
